“This year in addition to pilots from SBK, will also take part of the Sic Supermoto Day the Top Rider of Worldwide/European Supermoto, also some promises of this sport with MotoGP, Moto 2 and Moto 3 riders - explained Capogna the organiser – and it is an unique opportunity for spectators to be close quarters with pilots. The race will have different purposes; proceeds of Saturday will be dedicated to the Fondazione Tudisco and Sunday’s proceeds to the Foundation Marco Simoncelli, during these two days, 20% will be deducted from the proceeds to help pilots or their family who really need”. “It will be a day of event into two days of events” specified Montani manager of the International Circuit Il Sagittario – there will be a lot of initiatives into the main event and one of them, which is really special, will be a race between tractors”.

Simone Cori, Moto 2 pilot will not take part to the event as he is just back from an accident but he told us his experience at this event during the last edition: “the best during this event is the fact that you can race with famous pilots without having the stress of a real race. Here, you ride to have fun and I am pretty sure that it is going to be two beautiful days”. Giovanni Di Giorgi, Mayor of Latina, attended to press conference: “Allow me to congratulate the organisers of the event for having the mettle to bring back this event to Latina after the last edition’s tragic event and all the hardships of the circuit. It is an event which has been made with the heart, heart of solidarity. Speaking with champions who are living this event is a unique experience. For Latina it is also a kind of showcase and I hope that the city will meet this event, and I also know that people from the whole Italy will join this event. It will be two days of great show”.

The final countdown can start for this 3rd edition of Sic Supermoto Day, the event in memory of Marco Simoncelli, the young guy with a smile and the hearth full of affection which suited him so good, during races and outside races. This event will also be in memory of his friend Romboni who sadly passed away for a cause he fairly considered.
